Medusa
Medusa, one of my oil paintings which I offer as a print. So many stories surrounding this goddess, some of them are heartbreaking. She was one of three Gorgon sisters born to Keto and Phorkys, primordial sea gods; Medusa was mortal, while the others, Stheno and Euryale, were immortal. I want to portrait her In a serene and content state, admiring herself and her jewelry. Painting this brought me joy.
High-end inkjet Archival paper, smooth texture 11” x 16.5” (with approx. 1/2” border)
